With extensive experience liaising with high-level government officials, he facilitates smoother business operations in the country. Mr. Ashwini Mudgal
With over 30 years of experience in international trade, including 25 years dedicated to timber trade development, I possess extensive knowledge of the wood and lumber industry, particularly in coniferous species and hardwoods. My expertise spans forestry, logging, timber trade, and forest and wood products, with a strong background in both sourcing and sales across diverse markets. I am highly skilled in logistics planning and operations in both developing and developed countries.
Since 2023, I have served as CEO of Pacific Products Global Ltd, managing a commodity trading portfolio and establishing one of Asia’s largest Medium Density Fibre Boards (MDF) production facilities in Thailand. Previously, I held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Sudima International Pte Ltd in Singapore from 1999 to 2023. My notable achievements include speaking engagements at the Wood Chip Conference in Singapore, the World Timber Congress in Argentina, and the North American Timber Conference. I have also been involved in research on market development for FSC timber and served on the Executive Committee of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Singapore Chapter. My educational background includes an APEX MBA from the National University of Singapore and executive courses in entrepreneurship, business leadership, risk management, and structured trade finance.
